Terms of Service Agreement**

Effective Date: 12/11/25

By accessing or placing an order through BestCustomRugs.com, the client agrees to the following Terms of Service. These terms govern all transactions, communications, and interactions between the client and BestCustomRugs.com.


1. Custom Work Acknowledgment

All rugs produced by BestCustomRugs.com are custom, handcrafted products made to the client's specifications. Because of this customized nature, all sales are final.

The client acknowledges that:

  • Custom rugs are made individually by hand.

  • Variations in texture, fiber tension, or appearance are normal and not considered defects.


2. Design Process and Client Approvals

  • A digital mockup is provided for every custom rug.

  • Each client receives up to 3 revisions at no additional cost.

  • Once the client signs the design agreement or provides written approval, the design becomes final and unchangeable.

  • Production begins immediately after approval.

  • Any requested changes after approval will require a new order and payment.


3. Payments and Deposits

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Remaining balances must be paid in full before the rug is shipped.

  • Failure to pay the remaining balance within the agreed timeframe may result in project cancellation without refund.


4. No Refunds or Exchanges

BestCustomRugs.com does not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Incorrect measurements provided by the client

  • Changes of preference after design approval

  • Misunderstanding of colors due to device displays

  • Delays outside reasonable control

No exchanges are permitted.
All sales are final.


5. Manufacturing Defects and Damage in Transit

The only qualifying defect recognized under this agreement is damage that occurs during shipment.

Not considered defects:

  • Color variation between screens and physical materials

  • Handmade aesthetic variations

  • Minor texture differences

  • Issues arising from incorrect client-provided specifications

If damage occurs in transit:

  • Delivery signatures are required to confirm receipt.

  • The client must inspect the rug within 48 hours.

  • Claims must be sent to support(@)bestcustomrugs.com with photos and documentation.

  • Late claims cannot be accepted.

Approved claims qualify for a replacement rug only.
No refunds will be issued.

Return shipping costs for an approved claim are the client’s responsibility.


6. Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled once a deposit is paid.
Production materials, labor planning, and scheduling begin immediately upon order confirmation.


7. Shipping and Delivery

  • All rugs ship with signature required.

  • Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • BestCustomRugs.com is not responsible for:

    • Delays caused by carriers

    • Incorrect addresses provided by the client

    • Missed delivery attempts


8. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate size, color, and design details

  • Inspecting the rug within 48 hours

  • Maintaining communication through provided email channels

  • Paying all required fees, including return shipping for approved claims


9. Ownership and Intellectual Property

BestCustomRugs.com retains full rights to:

  • Designs created during the process

  • Marketing use of finished rug photos unless the client opts out in writing

Clients may not copy, resell, or reproduce designs without permission.


10. Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution

Any chargeback filed outside of this policy is considered a breach of contract.
BestCustomRugs.com will provide:

  • Signed approvals

  • Timestamped revision records

  • Proof of delivery

  • Communication history

  • Completed work photos

This documentation may be submitted to resolve disputes.

The client agrees to attempt to resolve any issues directly with BestCustomRugs.com before initiating a chargeback or third-party dispute.


11. Limitation of Liability

BestCustomRugs.com is not liable for:

  • Losses related to delays

  • Client-provided incorrect measurements

  • Damage occurring after successful delivery

  • Allergic reactions, misuse, or improper rug care

Maximum liability is limited to replacement of the rug in qualifying situations.


12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which BestCustomRugs.com operates.
Any legal disputes must be resolved in local courts with jurisdiction over the company.


13. Amendments

BestCustomRugs.com reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
Continued use of the website or purchase of products signifies acceptance of any updated terms.
